Wedgwood Preschool combines the best of the Montessori philosophy with current child development concepts and education practices. We promise personal attention and loving care through a small class size, and a high teacher-student ratio (at least 1:6 for the two-year old class, and 1:8 for the older class).

Our balanced
curriculum focuses on: |
|
| |
 |
Fostering creativity
through the use of self-expressive materials including
clay, crafts, cooking, painting, drawing, music,
dancing, and drama. |
 |
Developing and enhancing Math
and Language skills. |
 |
Exploring and studying the Physical
Sciences through hands-on investigations. |
 |
Satisfying the unique needs of
each child through one-on-one tutoring. |
|
|
 |
Plus,
gymnastics, music and movement, field trips, and more.
Our program is designed to nurture
and develop the whole child. The warm, loving, and
playful atmosphere and stimulating environment address
the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and creative
needs of each individual child. The environment fosters
in children self-esteem, responsibility, respect,
cooperation, and most of all, a love for learning.
We believe that children benefit
from everyday role models. We hire only the best teachers
who are befitting of, and comfortable with, that role.
